WORSHIP
A Word on Worship
1 Chronicles 16:10 says "Let the hearts of those who seek the Lord rejoice!" Why? 1) The ark of the covenant, which represents the presence of God, had just been placed in among the Israelite camp. We too can rejoice that God is with us. 2) God has done, does and will do awesome deeds. Later verses in chapter 16 share that God performs miracles (12), fulfills his promises (14-18) and rescues his children out of oppression (19-23). We have many reasons to rejoice in the Lord! Call to Worship 1 Chronicles 16:8-10 Oh give thanks to the Lord; call upon his name; make known his deeds among the peoples! Sing to him, sing praises to him; tell of all his wondrous works! Glory in his holy name; let the hearts of those who seek the Lord rejoice!
